Pretoria Country Club

Pretoria Country Club is renowned for being the quality sports and social venue, set in the magnificent surroundings of Pretoria's Waterkloof. Cullinan Diamond Mine Tour

Enjoy a tour of the Premier mine, where the world’s biggest diamond of 3106 carats was discovered in 1905. On the surface tour visitors will see the big hole, the shaft and the diamond room where a selection of un-cut diamonds and replicas of world-famous diamonds are displayed. Make it a full day and go 763m underground! Duration: Half/Full Day

The Lesedi Cultural Village Tour

Situated close to the Hartebeespoort dam in the Magaliesberg mountain range, is South Africa's most exciting showcase of African culture. You can view various African villages and will be introduced to the art, dancing, history and tribal legends of the Basotho, Ndebele, Pedi, Xhosa and Zulu people. Elephant Sanctuary Tour

The Magaliesberg was rich in animal life in the early 1900’s and it was the home of abundant herds of elephants. You will be guided in small groups on foot through the Sanctuary. This is a wonderful educational experience and has plenty of interaction including feeding these gracious animals. Elephant rides may be added on for the fit and adventurous person. De Wildt Cheetah Centre Tour

The Ann Van Dyk Cheetah Centre at de Wildt lies at the foothills of the Magaliesberg, with many indigenous trees and beautiful panoramic views of the north. De Wildt is renowned for its breeding success of rare endangered species such as the king cheetah, cheetah, wild dogs and various species of vultures. You can observe feeding times (please note: no children under 6 are permitted) Some excellent photographic opportunities await you, while witnessing cheetahs moving at high speeds. These exercise routines take place four times a week (Tue, Thu, Sat and Sun) The Cheetah Run starts at 08:00am. Centre is closed on Mondays. Duration: Half Day

Pilanesberg National Park Tour

The near-circular park of 55 000 ha lies in a 1 200 million year old volcano crater with a small lake in the centre, it borders on the entertainment complex of Sun City. This very scenic terrain lies in the transition zone between the Kalahari and Lowveld vegetation types. In the park today lives virtually all the animal species you can find in Southern Africa, including the Big-5 and many more such as hippos and crocodiles. In this beautiful Malaria-free park over 300 bird species have been spotted. Enjoy this gem of an experience! Duration: Full Day

Sun City Tour

You will leave the rugged bushveld behind to visit the world's most distinctive resort – Sun City. The resort has a unique African rhythm. There are four world-class hotels – the magnificent Palace of the Lost City, Cabanas, Cascades and Sun City Main Hotel. Rhino and Lion Park Tour

Take a drive through this privately owned game reserve, covering approximately 1 600 ha on the typical Highveld of Gauteng. The reserve is situated in the Cradle of Humankind, a declared World Heritage Site. Here you can view a variety of African wildlife including Cape buffalo, rhino, lion, cheetah, wild dogs, zebra and wildebeest. Visit the Wonder caves, described as “the most nicely decorated cave in South Africa” and play with the cubs at the animal crèche. Animals available to touch and you can take a photograph with lion, tiger and cheetah cubs. Duration: Full Day

Soweto/Johannesburg Tour

Soweto is the very symbol of the African's struggle for freedom in South Africa. This tour also offers you insight into the daily lives of the people of Soweto. Visit the Regina Mundi Catholic church; go on a guided tour in our famous previous president, mr. Nelson Mandela’s former house in Vilakazi street; also visit the Hector Petersen Memorial Square. Furthermore you will be passing by the FNB soccer stadium on the way to the Apartheid Museum. With your own extra budget you can go for a late lunch at Mandela Square in Sandton City or at Moyo’s restaurant (African cuisine) in Melrose Arch. Duration: Full Day

Sterkfontein Caves and Maropeng Tour

The Sterkfontein Caves, situated in the Cradle of Humankind (World Heritage Site) produced a wealth of revolutionary fossil finds – from dr. Robert Broom’s first adult "ape-man" in 1936, mrs. Ples, a well-preserved skull of a female Plesianthropus found in 1947, “Little Foot” in 1997, up to the more recent Sediba. On a guided tour, which starts above the ground, you’ll go deep into the actual caves where the valuable fossils were found. This is an interactive and educational experience, highlighting the history of the world and humankind as a species. Included is a visit to the exciting anthropological museum near Maropeng and you can enjoy a cup of coffee or a light snack at the Sterkfontein restaurant. Sit back and relax while enjoying the panoramic views en route. Duration: Full Day
